法治社会是在法治国家、法治政府之后提出的一个关涉法治全局的概念;法治社会并不是一个孤立的概念,它与法治国家、法治政府甚至还有法治政党等概念相联系,在一定意义上也可以将其视为法治国家、法治政府和整个法治的基础;法治社会是一个发展着的概念,与法治国家、法治政府、法治政党的理论和实践相比,法治社会的相关理论和制度尚不成熟。推进法治社会理论与实践创新,在法治国家、法治政府、法治社会一体建设的逻辑中,理解法治社会的基本内涵与特征,在社会治理、社会自治、社会法治一脉相承的逻辑中,寻求法治社会的构成体系和基本路径,从而在学术上拓展社会法学、公法学和整个法学理论及学科体系,推进中国特色社会主义法治理论体系的完善和发展,在实践中形成党内法治、国家法治、社会法治同步发展的局面,全面推进依法治国、加快建设法治中国。

Society ruled of law is a concept concerning the overall situation of rule of law which is raised after the concept of country ruled of law and government ruled of law. It is not an isolated concept which is related to country ruled of law,government ruled of law and even political party ruled of law. To some extent it can be regarded as the basis of country ruled of law,government ruled of law and the overall rule of law. The concept of society ruled of law is a developing one,of which theory and system is not mature compared with the theory and practice of country ruled of law,government ruled of law and political party ruled of law. To promote the innovation of theory and practice of society ruled of law is to understand the basic connotation and characters of society ruled of law in the logic of integrated construction of country,government and society ruled of law and seek the system and basic path of society ruled of law in the logic of continuity of social governance,social autonomy and society ruled of law,so as to expand social jurisprudence,public law and the theory of law and discipline system academically,promote the improvement and development of socialist legal system theory with Chinese characteristics and the synchronous construction and development of rule of law within political party,country and society in practice.
