Applying Schema Theory to English Reading under the Applied Talents Training Mode

英语阅读课是英语专业一门重要课程,设立该门课程的目的旨在帮助学生通过大量阅读来提高英语水平,扩大知识面。然而,目前我院英语阅读课程的教学模式,还远未达到应用型人才培养目标的要求,在教学内容、教学方法、教学手段、考核方式、师资建设等方面都存在着不适应的情况。本文重点论述运用现代图式理论,实现英语阅读课的改革,为培养应用型人才贡献自己的力量。

English reading is to improve their English level the teaching mode of English an important basic course for and broaden their knowledge reading English through course in Chifeng University majors. It is designed to help students a lot of reading. However, at present, is far from to achieve the requirement of the applied talents training goal. In the teaching contents, teaching methods, teaching means, examination mode and teachers construction, there are certain hysteresis. This paper mainly discusses using modern schema theory to realize the reform of English reading course so as to contribute strength to training applied talents.
