在各种类型的景观中,"纪念碑"通常是作为政治景观呈现的。然而,中西方在纪念碑这一特殊的建筑形制和符号系统中所反映的意义和含义差异甚大。如果说西方的纪念碑具有所谓的"纪念碑性"的话,那么,中国的政治景观所对应的是"崇高性"。
