从《麦琪的礼物》两种汉译本分析译者主观能动性的体现

Analysis of the Translator's Subjective Initiatives from the Two Translated Chinese Versions of The Gift of Magi

在很长的一段时间里,翻译研究主要聚集在原文本的中心地位、翻译文化、方法技巧、译文文本等方面,翻译文本主体的译者却一直处于边缘化的状态,忽视了译者主观能动性的作用。文章通过对短篇小说《麦琪的礼物》两汉译本对比分析来阐述译者主观能动性的体现。

In a long period of time,translation studies mainly focus on the central role of the original works,translation culture,translation skills and techniques, translated text and so on. Whereas the translator,who plays a significant role in the translated version,has been marginalized and the role of translator＇s subjective initiatives is commonly neglected.The paper hereof illustrates the translator＇s subjectivity initiatives through contrastive analysis of two Chinese translations of the short novel Maggie＇s gift.
