英语专业泛读教学步骤分析——以《英语泛读教程》中的课文为例

Analysis on the Teaching Procedures of English Major's Extensive Reading:Illustrated by the Articles in English Extensive Reading

英语泛读课是英语专业的必修课程,在英语教学中起着重要的作用。与精读不同,泛读旨在帮助学生提高阅读兴趣,掌握阅读技巧。然而,泛读文章篇幅长、范围广的特点给教学带来了一定的难度。文章以《英语泛读教程》中的课文为例,结合教学实践,提出泛读教学的六个步骤,为泛读教学提供参考。

English extensive reading is one of the compulsory courses for English major,which performs a significant role in English teaching. Distinguished from intensive reading,the goal of extensive reading is to help students increase reading interest and master reading skills. Nevertheless,the great length and wide range of the articles often bring difficulties to its teaching. Taking the articles in English Extensive Reading as examples,this essay proposes six procedures for the teaching based on the practice, aiming at providing references for the teaching of extensive reading.
