Robert Newton Peck's A Day No Pigs Would Die is to be studied in this paper from the perspective of eco-ethics so as to investigate the relationship between man and animal and even nature. As the ecological crisis is present through the universe,it is overwhelming for realistic literary works to reflect this biggest reality. It is true of magical realist novels as well, which is a genre of realistic literature. The study of A Day No Pigs Would Die from the perspective of ecological ethics can raise people's awareness of ecological conscience.
