Mutual promotion between disinfection and nosocomial infection management

消毒学是一门应用、交叉性学科,其在研究消毒作用机制的同时重点研究消毒新技术、新方法及其评价检测技术,消毒灭菌技术在医疗机构的应用可有效预防医院感染事件的发生。空气消毒、物体表面消毒、水消毒、手卫生、医疗器械等消毒技术在医疗机构应用,并随相关医疗机构感染管理标准规范的实施得以规范化、快速化发展。邻苯二甲醛、过氧乙酸等高水平消毒剂、清洗消毒机、过氧化氢等离子体灭菌器、低温甲醛蒸汽灭菌器等消毒灭菌器械、以及指示物逐步广泛应用于医疗机构消毒灭菌。近年来,新型诊疗手段的出现,消毒学科与医院感染管理工作协同促进发展,对于控制医院感染、预防外源性医院感染事件的发生、保护人民群众身体健康具有重要意义。

As an applied science and a cross-disciplinary science,the science of disinfection focuses on the study of action mechanisms of disinfection,new technologies,and new methods as well as detection technologies.The disinfection and sterilization technology can effectively prevent the nosocomial infectionin medical institutions,the disinfection technologies,including air disinfection,object surface disinfection,water disinfection,hand hygiene,and disinfection of medical instruments,were applied in the medical institutions and achieved normalized,rapid development along with the implementation of criteria for infection control in medical institutions.The high-level disinfectants such as ortho-phthalaldehyde and peracetic acid,cleaning and disinfection machine,hydrogen peroxide plasma sterilization machine,disinfection and sterilization devices like low temperature formaldehyde steam sterilizer,and indicators,were gradually and widely applied for the disinfection and sterilization in medical institutions.The novel diagnosis and treatment means have been emerged in recent years,the science of disinfection and nosocomial infection management stimulates each other to promote the development,which has great significance in control of nosocomial infections,prevention of exogenous nosocomial infections,and protection of health of people.
