老年病人特点与老年病人诊疗的思考

Reflection on the Characteristics of Elderly Patients and Their Diagnosis and Treatment Strategy

中国社会老龄化的进程不可阻挡,老年人各种各样的不舒服,越来越多的躯体症状是老化?是疾病?自然衰老与病理改变相互交错;多病共存,相互激恶,极易发生并发症是老年人的特点。医学技术的进步日新月异,使得大多数疾病都是可治的。疾病该治,老年人的疾病是否都需要治疗?如何管理好老年群体?重视预防与康复,做好老年病人的健康管理,以医学的整体观、整合观来指导医生的临床决策,注重个体化处理、慎重选择治疗方案,以病人的利益为最大化原则,谨防过度医疗,用好现代医疗技术,解除老年人痛苦,为老年人服好务。

The process of social aging in China is inevitable. The old people suffer from various kinds of discomfort. More and more somatic symptoms are caused by simply aging or diseases. Natural aging and pathological changes are interlaced with each other. The coexistence of multiple diseases, mutual deterioration with each other and easiness to cause complications are characteristics of the elderly. The advances in medical technology have made it possible for most diseases to be cured, but whether the disease in the elderly should be treated？ How to manage elderly groups？ The authors argue that we should pay more attention to prevention and rehabilitation; pay more attention to health management of elderly patients; make clinical decisions based on a holistic and integrated view; pay attention to individualized treatment; select treatment carefully to best address patient＇s interests; be aware of excessive medical treatment and use modern technology to relieve the suffering of the elderly and provide good services.
