STK11基因的研究进展

摘要 STK11基因是最近发现的一种肿瘤抑制基因 ,定位于人类染色体 19p13.3区。其基因产物是丝氨酸-苏氨酸蛋白激酶的一种 ,与细胞的生长增殖等行为有重要的关系 ,并且可能在细胞凋亡中起重要作用。但该基因的作用机制还不甚清楚 ,亟待进一步深入研究。 STK11 gene is a recently found tumor suppressor gene. It maps 19p13.3. This gene can express a kind of serine threonine kinases. STK11 gene plays an important role in the regulation of cell cycle progression, and it may relate to cell apoptosis. However, until now the mechanisms of STK11 gene is not very clear and progress in the research of this new tumor suppressor gene is sitll needed.
