XIA Guicheng's Experience in Treating Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Complicated with Infertility

多囊卵巢综合征是育龄期女性不孕的常见病因,主要以肾阴亏虚、癸水不足为发病基础,伴随脏腑失调、寒热失调、病理产物交织等表现。夏桂成创制的七期调周法顺应妇女月经周期演化规律,以"心肾子宫轴"为核心纵向调节,着眼妊娠5大因素——癸水、血海、精卵、温度、子宫,按期调整月经周期。在经后期、排卵期因势利导,诱发促进排卵,提高卵泡质量;同时祛除多囊卵巢综合征病理过程中产生的心肝郁火、痰湿脂肪,促进心肾相交,改善代谢紊乱状态,使患者恢复排卵和正常的生殖节律。

Polycystic ovary syndrome is a common cause of infertility in childbearing age female. The pathogenesis basis is mainly deficiency of kidney yin and tiangui（ 天癸） water,associated with manifestations of Zang-fu viscera disorder,cold-heat disorder,pathological products mixture,etc. Professor XIA Guicheng designs seven stages regulating menstrual cycle method,which conforms to the law of menstrual cycle evolution in women. Longitudinal adjustment is adopted with ＂heart-kidney-uterus axis＂as the core. With a view to 5 factors of pregnancy（ tiangui water,blood sea,sperm-ovum,temperature,and uterus）,menstrual cycle could be regulated by stages. At the postmenstruation stage and ovulation,improving the occasion,inducing ovulation,ovarian follicle quality might be improved. Meanwhile,stagnated fire in heart and liver,as well as phlegm-dampness-fat produced in the pathological process of polycystic ovary syndrome should be removed to promote intercourse between heart and kidney,improve metabolic disorder status and restore patients＇ ovulation and normal reproductive rhythms.
