A Study on the Relevancy of English Language Competence and English Language Sense

英语语言能力一般由语言文化知识、语言认知能力以及语法能力构成。英语语感则是在长期的语言学习过程中产生的敏锐感受,包括对英语词汇的发音、对英语情感的理解、对语意的感受等方面。探讨英语语言能力和英语语感的相关性,通过加强英语语言能力的构建进一步促进英语教学中语感的培养。

The English language competence generally consists of English culture knowledge, English cognitive abilities and grammar a- bility. While English language sense is the sensitive feeling formed in the long process of language learning, which includes many aspects, such as the understanding of English lexical pronunciation, the perception of English language emotion and the comprehension of seman- tic meaning etc. By analyzing the correlation between English language competence and English language sense, this article is mainly ex- pected to try to help the further cultivation of language sense in English language teaching through the approach of strengthening the con- struction of the English language competence.
