本文对词汇习得方法,字典查阅法、词缀、衍生词和单词书记忆法进行阐述,强调通过英语阅读进行词汇附带习得的方法,探讨实现这一习得的两个步骤:Exposition和Elaboration,阐述教师在学生词汇自主学习过程中扮演的模范、信息提供者、导师等角色和策略。

The article briefly summarizes the dictionary,affixes,word derivation and mnemonic method which are used in vocabulary enlargement.It stresses the function of extensive reading on vocabulary acquisition and discusses two methods involved in the process of extensive reading：exposition and elaboration.
