The Gemaan agricultural machinery manufacturer Amazone wasable to save 18 percent in weight when producing a prototypetbr a new bogey chassis. The family business fi＇om Hasbergen,near Osnabrtck in Germany, was able to quickly print the sand-casting moulds and cores for the cast metals with the world＇slargest industrial 3D printer for sand-casting moulds, theVX4000 - without any expensive special tools and using onlya CAD file.
