自中央提出宗教与社会主义社会相适应以来,藏传佛教以其适应性强的特点很快实现了社会适应,随着全球化时代的到来,藏传佛教逐步跨越传统民族宗教的边界,开始向世界宗教发展,与此同时,藏传佛教也在此过程中结合民族特点逐步进行自身的文化整合。面对新形势,引导藏传佛教与社会主义社会相适应,发挥宗教的正向功能,需要牢牢把握现代化与信众生活适应、世俗化与市场经济适应、法制化与宗教事务管理适应等层面,做到对藏传佛教事务有效引导,牢牢掌握对藏传佛教工作的主动权。

Ever since the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China proposes that religions should adapt to socialism society, Tibetan Buddhism, with its high adaptation capacity, has swiftly realized its social adaptation. With the coming of globalization time, Tibetan Buddhism has gradually leap over the border of traditional Tibetan ethnic religions and develops into an international one. Meanwhile, Tibetan Buddhism has gradually realized cultural integration with its ethnic features into consideration. Under new situations, to guide Tibetan Buddhism to adapt to socialism society and play positive roles of religions, we should stick to the adaptation of modernization and believers＂ life, the adaptation of secularization and market economy, legalization and administration of religious affairs, ensure effective guidance of Tibetan Buddhism affair and grasp the initiative of the work concerning Tibetan Buddhism.
