The method and principle of instrument selection in flue gas desulfurization and denitration plant with heat conducting oil boiler in chemical plant are introduced. According to practical application experience, working conditions of abrasion, corrosion and easily blocked are common in desulfurization and denitration plant. The requirement on instrument material and type selection are high. Type selection for key control parameters of pressure, flow, liquid level, density, pH and control valve are analysed. Suitable selection can ensure the effect of flue gas treatment and stable installation operation, as well as prolong instrument service life.
