Research on Commercial Banks' Pricing Management Tactics in Marketization of Interest Rates

推进利率市场化是全面深化金融领域改革的重要内容,也是更好地发挥市场在优化资源配置中决定性作用的必然选择。2015年10月24日,央行正式放开活期存款及一年以内定期存款、协定存款和通知存款的利率上限,标志着1996年以来的人民币利率市场化迈出最具实质性和决定性的步伐。近年来,利率市场化带来了一系列变化,如市场资金价格缓慢上升、非信贷融资替代效应明显等。面对定价策略不清晰、定价方法差异化不足、定价系统和数据基础薄弱、定价策略执行的协同效果较差等问题,商业银行应主动采取措施,如均衡资产负债规模增长与定价的关系、完善定价的内部工作机制、构建差异化的综合定价机制、加强定价系统建设、改进定价风险管理,不断提升商业银行适应市场变化、管理要求和发展需求的定价能力。

The advancement of interest rate marketization is the major dimension of comprehensively deepening the reform concerning financial field, as well as the rational choice of better utilizing the decisive role of the market in optimizing the allocation of resources. On October 24th of 2015, the PBC proclaimed to lift the upper interest rate limits of current deposit, fixed deposit within one year, agreement deposit and call deposit, which indicated that the interest rate marketization of RMB had made the most fundamental and substantial step since 1996. In past few years, the advance of interest rate marketization has brought many changes, such as the slow pro- motion of price level in funds market and the obvious substitution of non-credit financing for credit financing. Confronted with unclear strategy pricing, insufficient pricing methods, weak of pricing system and data basis, poor cooperation in fulfillment of pricing tactics and other problems, com- mercial banks should take positive measures, such as balancing the relation between the pricing and the increase of assets and liabilities, optimizing the inner mechanism of pricing, differentiating the comprehensive pricing, strengthening the construction of pricing system and advancing the management of pricing risks in order to continuously improve the pricing ability of commercial banks to adapt to market changes, management requirements and development needs.
