The paper introduced the big data and features. In combination with the practices of the coal enterprises,the paper analyzed the coming trend of the data economic era. According to the big data principle and the value function,in combination with the related experts＇ comments plus with the preparation and conclusion,the paper provided ＂four broken and four set up＂ thinking orientation of the big data. A discussion was conducted on the application of the big data thinking orientation to integrate and promote the development of the coal enterprises. Related countermeasure proposals were provided.
