河南省罗山县双桥膨润土矿床地质特征及找矿标志

Geological Characteristics and Prospecting Indicator of Shuangqiao Bentonite Deposit in Luoshan County,Henan Province

双桥膨润土矿区位于河南省罗山县西北部,处于秦岭造山带东延的桐柏—大别造山带与信阳盆地的接触部位,成矿条件较好。结合相关工作成果,对矿区地质特征、矿床地质特征进行了分析,并总结了找矿标志。研究表明:矿层露头为直接找矿标志;中—酸性火山岩分布区为钠质膨润土矿找矿的先决条件;若地表或浅部发现膨润土后,应继续往深部追索,进一步探查深部是否存在膨润土矿床。分析结果对于该区进一步开展膨润土矿床找矿勘探工作有一定的借鉴价值。

Shuangqiao bentonite mining area is located in the northeast of Luoshan County,Henan Province,it is distributed in the contact zone of Tongbai-Dabieshan belt of the east extension of Qingling Orogenic Belt and Xinyang Basin,the metallogenic condition of the mining area is good.The bentonite deposit is firstly found during the geological survey work in Shuagnqiao area in Luoshan County in 1989,and it is conducted further detailed further exploration in 2013.Based on the above geological working results of the mining area,the characteristics of the mining area and deposit are analyzed in detail,and the prospecting indicators of the deposit are also summarized.The results show that seam outcrop is the direct prospecting indicator of the deposit;the distribution area of intermediate acidic volcanic rock is the prerequisite for the prospecting of sodic bentonite deposit;if the bentonite can be found in the surface or shallow area,it is necessary to conduct deep prospecting work to found the existence of bentonite deposit.The above discussion results related to the geological characteristics and prospecting indicator of Shuangqiao bentonite deposit can provide some reference for the further prospecting work of bentonite deposit in the area or its adjacent area.
