信息文明是不同于工业文明的新型社会有机体,它从技术形态、生产力形态、经济形态、政治形态、制度形态等各个方面全维度地呈现出新的特征,这些新特征之间具有有机的关联性和系统的整体性。信息文明作为一种社会有机体的出现,根源于现代信息技术作为其"基因"的生成,这一根基性变化在社会各方面的"表达"就是信息化的全面推进过程。信息文明作为新的社会有机体使人与人结成"信息共存"的新关系,由此需要以信息公正和信息诚信等新的伦理原则来维护信息共同体的整体运作,从而促进有机体的健康成长。

Information civilization is a new social organism which is different from the industrial civilization, It presents a new dimension from the technical form, the form of productive forces, the economic form, the political form, the institutional form and so on. These new features have organic correlations and system integrity. As a social organism, Information civilization rooted in the generation of modern in- formation technology as its ＂gene＂. The ＂expression＂ of this fundamental change in all aspects of society is the informatization and its overall progress to society. As a new social organism, information civihzation makes people form a new relationship of ＂information coexistence＂, this requires the use of information ethics and information integrity and other new ethical principles to maintain the overall operation of the in- formation community, so as to promote the healthy growth of the organism.
