Reflections on Innovating and Expanding Forms of Reading Promotion among Children——A case study of museum-style exhibition

图书馆应不断拓展和创新少儿阅读推广活动,而形象直观、"以物证史"的展览正是图书馆拓展阅读活动的一个新方向。本文所关注的展览是指以文物为核心的博物馆式展览,以区别于一般图书馆的美术、摄影、图片类展览,认为博物馆式展览在少儿阅读推广活动中能发挥自己独特的优势和作用,应引起各级各类图书馆的重视。

Libraries should constantly expand and innovate forms of reading promotion among children. Visible exhi- bitions that center on the idea of testifying history through objects are becoming a new trend. This paper focuses on the artifacts - based exhibitions of museum - style, which are different from the ordinary exhibitions of fine arts, photography and pictures in libraries. It holds that exhibitions of museum style can play a unique role in promotion among children and deserves the due attention of libraries at all levels.
