The article analyzes the operating characteristics of Japanese cartoon books, in order to take a compound type which has multifunction, a private type which widely absorbs the social resources and a miniature type which divides in specific topic, these three types of library operation practice as an example, it concludes the experience of Japanese cartoon libraries paying attention to research and propagandize localization of library, actively promoting the development of cartoon industry and relevant industry, then, provides reference for our country＇ s cartoon libraries.
