Psychological Health Education and Students' Privacy Protection in Universities

大学生隐私权作为学生应当享有的人格权之一,理应受到法律的重视与保护。高校在开展大学生心理咨询及日常心理档案管理方面存在隐私保护力度不够、工作人员或咨询师对大学生信息资料保管利用不当,导致主动或被动泄漏其个人信息资料、侵犯学生隐私权的情况。高校要加强对《精神卫生法》的宣传、学习和解读,提升教师保护大学生隐私的法治意识,高校各管理环节也要加强对大学生隐私的保护。

Right of privacy is one of the rights university students enjoy and should be protected by the laws. However, problems like insufficient protection of privacy and improper storage and use of students data often occur in universities psychological consultations and daily file management, leading to violations of studentsj right of privacy as a result of active or passive disclosure of their personal information by the schools. It indicates that a university should improve the promotion, study and interpretation of the Mental Health Law to raise teachers awareness of protection of studentsj privacy. At the same time, administrative institutions at various levels in the school should also strengthen the protection of these information.
