Incidental vocabulary acquisition is an important method for learners to learn vocabularies incidentally during their listening or reading activities. In vocabulary teaching in independent colleges, incidental acquisition should be integrated with intentional acquisition for the students with the aid of electronic resources to complete the reading tasks offered according to their level. In the meantime, electronic resources may also play an auxiliary role. During the process, attention should also be paid to the instruction of positive learning strategies for the students in reading.
