An Investigation into the Marine Ecological Civilization Consciousness Cultivation in China's Coastal Areas

科学开发海洋资源和保护海洋环境,加强海洋生态文明建设是支撑中国沿海地区经济社会可持续发展的必然选择。调查分析发现,女性对海洋生态环境的忧患意识略高于男性,男性对海洋生态文明的积极认知态度、知识掌握程度、伦理认知理性度、责任意识、消费意识和价值认同感等高于女性,且更愿意通过新媒体渠道获取知识来源,并付诸保护海洋生态文明公益活动。因此,研究性别对海洋文明建设的主要影响,尤其是加强女性在海洋意识方面培育具有较大的现实意义。女性在生态保护中具有较为母性的认同感,但其海洋生态文明意识较之男性仍显不足,沿海地区人们海洋意识的培育对象目标应当集中在女性,需要通过树立理性的价值认同观,提高海洋生态文明意识,为沿海地区的海洋生态文明建设和发展提供支持。

The result also showed that the male respondents preferred to obtain the knowledge of marine ecological environment from the new media and applied it in those public benefit activities which were aimed at the protection of marine ecological civilization. Studying the main influence of gender on the maine ecological civilzation construction and strongthening females＇ maritime consciousness in particular have great practical significance. Females have a stronger identity sense of maternity, but their marine ecological civilization consciousness is not as strong as males＇. In coastal areas in China the cultivation of marine consciousness should be oriented mainly towards females, their retional value identification developed, and their marine ecological civilization consciousness strengthened in order to provide theoretical supports for the construction and development of marine ecological civilization in the coastal areas.
