摘要
泥沙实体模型试验中,模型沙的选用及其物理、运动特性的确定直接关系到泥沙运动及河床变形的相似性和试验成果的精度。文章对以膨胀珍珠岩为基材研制的膨胀珍珠岩模型沙进行了容重、起动流速、沉速、水下休止角的研究分析。结果表明:该膨胀珍珠岩模型沙与其它模型沙相比,具有容重可调、粒径范围广、颗粒形态同于天然沙、物化性质稳定等优点,具有较大的开发研究和推广应用价值。
In a test of movable-bed physical model, it is very important to select the model sand with appropriate physical and kinetic characteristics, which is directly related with the similarity of the sediment movement and the change of river bed and the accuracy of the experimental results. In this paper, the expanded perlite was taken as basic material to make the new type model sand by using new technology. In order to examine the property of the new type model sand, tests were conducted to study the physical properties, such as settling velocity test and incipient velocity test and so on. The results show that, the new model sand made from expanded perlite has good physical and motional characteristics, such as adjustable volume weight, extensive range of particle size, natural grain shape, and stable physical and chemical properties. It also has great value of development and application.
