开展中国慈善通史研究有利于拓展与推进中国社会史乃至中国史学科的研究,使之更丰满、更深入;有利于人们认识当今社会慈善事业的源流,弘扬慈善文化,促进社会建设;有利于构筑中华民族精神家园,增强文化自信。中国慈善史既有研究成果斐然可观,然而在研究内容与主题、研究视野与方法等方面尚存不足,有进一步深化与突破的空间。由此,需从加强慈善史理论创新、加大慈善史料收集整理、纵横向深化慈善史相关问题等多个路径进行学术探索。

It is of unique academic value and practical significance to research on the history of Chinese philanthropy. It is beneficial to expanding and promoting the study of social history of China and the history of China, and making it more plentiful and more in depth. At the same time,it will help people know the origin of philanthropy in today＇s society,promote philanthropy culture,promote social construction. It is also conducive to the construction of Chinese national spirit home,enhance cultural self-confidence and values. Through the review of the related literatures,it is found that the existing research have achieved splendid results. However, there are still insufficient aspects in research contents and themes, research perspective and methods. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out academic exploration in such aspects as strengthening the theoretical innovation of philanthropy history,increasing the collection of historical data of philanthropy,and deepening the related issues of philanthropy history.
