Effects of Social and Economic Status on the Demand of Rural Public Security Service

为完善农村基本公共安全服务,提高农村公共安全服务水平,采用江苏农村的调查数据,从社会经济地位深入分析了农村居民公共安全服务需求及其影响因素。结果表明:农村居民对农村公共安全服务的需求较高,但对不同种类的公共安全服务的需求存在差异。通过OLS回归分析表明,文化程度对农村居民的安全服务需求具有显著的差异,文化程度越高的农村居民,对农村公共安全服务的需求越高。收入对农村居民公共安全服务的需求具有显著影响,收入越低的农村居民对农村公共安全服务的需求越高。职业对农村居民公共安全服务需求产生了显著影响,农业劳动者、乡镇企业职工、农村工商户和农民工对农村公共安全服务的需求较高。

In order to improve the rural basic public safety service and improve the level of rural public safety services,the demand and influencing factors of rural residents＂ public safety service were analyzed using Jiangsu rural survey data from the social and economic status. The results showed that rural residents have higher demand for rural public safety services, but there are differences in the demand for different types of public safety services. The OLS regression analysis showed that the educational level had a significant difference in the demand for safety services for rural residents. The rural residents of higher the educational level had the higher the demand for rural public safety services. Income had a significant impact on the demand for public safety services for rural residents, and the rural residents of the lower the income had the higher the demand for rural public safety services. Occupational employment had a significant impact on the demand for public safety services for rural residents. The demand for rural public safety services was higher for agricultural workers, township workers, rural industrial and commercial households and migrant workers.
