As one of the most important person in English literature of 20th century,Lawrence＇s works are put more emphasis by the world of literature.The Blind Man expresses the inward struggle by means of external description.This novel is the exploration of bisexual relationship and the conflicts between friends.This essay tries to analyze the confusion of two groups of people when they get on with each other and their inner world.Since the three main characters are all blind people,they can not see their defects clearly,and are unable to balance the relationship between the spouse and friends.They have been exploring in the darkness and finally gained cure in spirits.
