This paper introduces the application of blasting purge technology in the flush of steel pipes of an ion-membrane KOH plant. The basic principle of blasting purge technology is introduced. The method and the matters needing attention in the application of the technology of blasting purge are described in detail through the specific case of purging. Some viewpoints and suggestions on blasting purge technology are proposed. It is of guiding signiticance for the promotion and application of the technique of blasting purge in the steel pipeline purging.
