唐代是我国封建社会的鼎盛时期,在这一时期,出现了两大著名的陶瓷器具,一个是唐三彩,一个是唐青花。唐三彩是中国古代陶瓷工艺的珍品,不仅是最为华丽,也是文化内涵最为丰富的一种低温铅釉陶器,它的釉色浓艳瑰丽,造型生动传神,富有浓厚的生活气息。青花瓷又称白地青花瓷,常简称为青花,是中华陶瓷烧制工艺的珍品。原始的青花瓷器在唐代就已现端倪,唐青花与唐三彩一脉相传,是由唐三彩中的蓝彩发展而来的。
