世界文学在当代是一个欢呼与质疑并存的话题,当今西方中心论视域下的世界文学观念受到越来越多学者的质疑。而跨文明研究视域下的世界文学理论与实践能够对现有世界文学研究的局限性进行补益。它注重在"求同存异"的基础上研究不同文明文学间的关系和变异现象,这种研究方法正在研究实践中得到逐步落实,达姆罗什的世界文学理论研究与实践为跨文明的世界文学研究提供了范式和前景。

World Literature is a heatedly discussed topic favorably and unfavorably. Concept of world Litera- ture with the West as the center is questioned by more and more scholars today. Theory and practice from Cross Civilization Study Perspective can contribute to present study to reduce its limitation, which is imple- mented in practice. Theoretical study on World Literature by Damrosch and his practice provides pattern and prospect for this study.
