Hot spots and frontier evolution of Endodontics in 21st century

摘要 目的探讨21世纪牙髓病学研究的热点领域和前沿。方法选择两本高影响力SCI牙髓病学期刊《International Endodontic Journal》和《Journal of Endodontics》,对其2001—2016年发表的论文进行文献计量和可视化分析,得出牙髓病学领域高水平研究论文的国家、研究机构、高产作者及关键词共现。通过共词分析,得出该领域研究热点和前沿。结果 2001年以来,牙髓病学两本期刊发文最多的国家是美国,巴西圣保罗大学居机构第一,Siqueira JF以97篇发文量居所有作者之首。通过共词分析,发现牙髓病学热门研究领域包括:细菌感染、根管消毒药物、根管封闭材料、根管预备器械、牙髓根尖周病诊断、牙髓组织工程等。近期可重点关注牙髓再生组织工程、自调节根管锉、CBCT诊断及在牙体解剖的应用等。结论应用CiteSpace可视化图谱分析软件可简捷的实现对某领域文献的计量分析,有助于把握学科热点和前沿。 Objective To discuss the hot spots and frontier evolution of Endodontics in 21st century. Methods Two high effected SCI Journals of Endodontics International Endodontic Journal and Journal of Endodontics, were chosen. Top 10 countries, institu- tions and authors in this field were analyzed by bibliometric and visualized by CiteSpace. The hot spots and frontier evolution were ob- served by co-keyword analysis. Results In the two journals from 2001 to 2016, the top 1 country is USA, top 1 institution is Universi- ty of Sao Paulo, Brazil, top 1 author is Siqueira JF(97 articles). Through the co-keyword analysis, it was found that the research hot- topics mainly focused on bacterial infection, root canal disinfection drugs, instruments for root canal preparation, diagnosis of apical periodontitis, and dental pulp tissue engineering. We can pay attention to dental pulp regeneration,, self adjust file, CBCT, et al. Con- clusion Mapping analysis with CiteSpace visualization software can be simple and easy to realize the quantitative analysis of the litera- ture in a certain area, and can help researchers to grasp the hot spots and frontier evolution.
