Wooden guide safety catch is the used at cage hoisting with wooden grade and secures the personal and shaft equipment safety. Due to its simple structure, easy replacement and low cost, it is widely used especially at small-medium shafts. But some problems such as draw bar deformation or break occurred during operation will affect shaft hoisting safety. With analysis, improvements are raised to solve these problems, securing the personal and shaft equipment safety during hoisting.
