The article elaborates and interprets the background,purpose and significance of drafting the ＂regulation for washing and disinfection techniques of medical textiles in healthcare facilities＂ and scope of application as well as the key points and difficulties in management requirements so as to regulate the behaviors of cleaning and disinfection of medical textiles in China and help hospitals and social washing service institutions to better understand and execute it,besides,the development trends and requirements on three aspects including information management,application of antibacterial textile materials and establishment of concept of environmental protection were put forward.
