Interpretation and discussion of milestone competency evaluation framework for American radiology resident(part one):the Diagnostic Radiology Milestone Project

基于胜任能力的医学人才培养已成为全球医学教育的发展趋势。美国毕业后医学教育认证委员会(ACGME)联合美国放射学委员会(ABR)发布了放射科住院医师或专科医师的分阶段目标胜任力评价系统,其主要目的是对参加ACGME认可的放射科医师培训项目的完成情况进行评估,为放射科住院医师或某个亚专业专科医师核心胜任力的发展提供了一个评估框架。在此仅介绍放射诊断学分阶段胜任力评价系统的主要内容、评价表主要结构及使用方法。美国放射科医师胜任力评价系统为放射科医师的规范化培训提供了统一的培养框架,能够实现过程控制与结果评价相结合、自我评价与他人评价相结合,使评价更加客观、全面,对我国放射科住院医师规范化培训和评价提供了新的借鉴和启示。

Competency-based medical personnel training is becoming a global trend of medical education. A set of competence evaluation system for radiology residents and fellows, MILESTONES, was initiated jointly by the Accreditati on Council for Graduate Medical Education （ACGME） and the American Board of Radiology （ABR）. The Milestones are designed only for use in evaluation of radiology residents in the context of their participation in ACGME accredited residency or fellowship programs. The Milestones provide a framework for the assessment of the development of radiology resident in key dimensions of the elements of radiology competency in a specialty or subspecialty. The structure of diagnostic radiology milestone evaluation form, content and methodologies was illustrated in this paper. American radiology resident competency evaluation system provides a unified framework for the country＇s medical graduates after graduating from medical education training. It helps to combine process control with the results of the evaluation, self-evaluation with the evaluation of others to make the evaluation more objective and comprehensive. It can provide new reference and inspiration to the evalua- tion and training of radiology residents in our country.
