卫气是《内经》气学理论的重要内容,为了强调卫气失常在疾病的发生、发展过程中的重要作用,《内经》提出"审察卫气,为百病母"的论述。通过对《内经》关于卫气的生成、循行、生理特性和致病机制的理论梳理,阐述卫气失常致病的广泛性和多样性,说明卫气失常致病的重要性及临床意义。通过对"卫气为百病母"的理论探讨,有助于深入理解其临床应用价值,为临床诊治提供理论依据。

Defensive qi as an important part of qi theory in the Internal Canon. Since disorder of defensive qi is important during the occurrence and development of disease,in the Internal Canon it is proposed that ＂defensive qi as the mother of all the disease＂. In this paper,by generalizing the generation,circulation, physiological characteristics and pathogenic mechanism of defensive qi,the variety and diversity of disease due to defensive qi disorders were expounded,to indicate the importance and clinical significance of disorder of defensive qi leading to disease. Through this discussion,this theory will be understood profoundly to supply the theoretical basis for the clinical diagnosis and treatment.
