全方位的音乐教育实践——陆华柏在华中师范学院

1952—1957年,陆华柏在华中师范学院(今华中师范大学前身)音乐系任教。作为一名音乐教育家,他在担任作曲理论教学的同时,将大量民歌改编为声乐、钢琴教材,丰富师范类学校教材建设,连续出版多本曲集;作为一名作曲家,他创作了管弦乐作品《康藏组曲》,探索交响音乐民族化;作为一名翻译家,他翻译了《和声与对位》等译著,推动西方音乐理论在中国的传播;作为一名系主任,他组织全系师生开展艺术实践,充实教学内容,推动武汉音乐文化建设。陆华柏为成立之初的华中师范学院音乐系奠定了理论和艺术实践根基,他在华中师范学院的音乐教育实践是全方位的。

Lu Huabo taught at the Music Depar tment of the Central China Normal College(currently the Central China Normal University) from 1952 to 1957. As a music educator he arranged a large number of folk songs for voice and piano; as a composer he wrote the orchestral piece The Kang Zang Suite; as a translator he translated several books from the West; and as the depar tment chairman he organized per formance activities for the faculty and students. He laid solid foundation for the music program of the then new Central China Normal College.
