摘要
《奥斯维辛没有什么新闻》是对一般新闻稿的一种突破和创新,"新闻"是这篇新闻稿的关键词和修辞对象。在这篇新闻稿中,修辞对象——"新闻"不仅指向新闻稿本身,还指向作者所报道的整个奥斯维辛。这则新闻的特别之处在于它并不符合一般新闻稿的基本特征,甚至某些特征之间还存在着矛盾。这些矛盾主要体现在三个方面:跨越"时间间隔"的叙事话语、突破"零度写作"的情感修辞、挑战"话语定式"的矛盾修辞。因此,从修辞的角度进行文本分析,才能更好地揭示该新闻稿的奥秘。
The news report No News from Auschwitz is widely regarded as a novelty and breakthrough in that the wording news refers to not only the report itself but also the referent Auschwitz. In addition, it breaks through from confinement of traditional news in three aspects. Firstly, it adopts trans-temporality as its narrative model. Secondly, it goes beyond writing of degree zero to convey explicitly the writer's feelings. Thirdly, discourse conventionality is challenged. Thus, to better understand this news, it is imperative to make a contextual analysis of it from rhetorical perspective.
