共选理论视角下的社论意识形态研究

A Study of Editorial Ideology from Perspective of Co-Selection Theory

观念反映意识形态,通常由语篇关键词表达。论文采用共选理论探讨意义单位的工作模式,从《中国日报》社论关键词出发,探讨同一个关键词在中国和美国报纸社论中形成的局部语境和语义韵。研究发现社论语义韵深受国家意识形态影响,同一个关键词由于共现关系不同,形成了不同类别的语义趋势和语义韵,反映了不同的意识形态。

In an editorial, the key words it adopts usually convey concepts reflecting their underlying ideology. This paperdiscusses a semantic unit's working model in light of co-selection theory, and surveys editorials of China Daily with those of American presses to compare the same key words' local context and semantic prosody between them. Findings reveal that even if the key words they deploy are the same, their co-occurrence patterns are not the same, resulting in different semantic preference and prosody, which is determined by the latent ideology. Thus, a country's ideology exerts great impact on the semantic prosody of a press' s editorials.
