乡贤文化从古至今绵延数千年,为中国传统文化积淀了深厚的历史底蕴,留存了宝贵的精神资源。随着时代的发展变化,当前中国乡贤文化面临着乡村精英严重流失、乡贤文化日渐衰微、多元思潮激荡交锋、乡贤政策暂付阙如等困境。倘要留住乡贤,激活乡贤文化,让乡愁永驻,需要保护与传承乡贤文化资源,多策并举培育新乡贤,以乡贤文化涵养社会主义核心价值观,发挥乡贤参与乡村发展建设的作用,实现传统文化与现代社会的对接与缝合,使乡贤文化成为当代中国发展建设的助推器。

The elite villager culture,as part of traditional Chinese culture,lasting thousands of years in Chinese history,has rich connotations and leaves us precious cultural resources. With the development of times,it is confronted with many predicaments of loss of rural elites,decline of local culture,collision of pluralistic thoughts and lack of policy support. The solutions to these problems include protecting and inheriting the cultural resources,cultivating new elite villages,and foster core socialist values by taking in the culture,encouraging the elite villagers’ participation in countryside construction so as to boost the development of the rural areas in China.
