摘要
所谓经典,一定是超出一般水平的珍品,但它最突出的表现恐怕主要是作者的一种意识,而《红与黑》正是如此。作者用一种看似简单却无比深邃、充满矛盾而又相辅相成的比对意识构建他的小说,使这部名著不论在题名方面、叙事方面,还是人物的性格方面,处处呈现出了对立多面的内涵。正因如此,它超越了地域,超越了种族,超越了时代,至今让人回味无穷。而这也正是斯丹达尔"形式的巨匠"的由来。
French writer of "Scarlet and Black",Stendhal constructs his novel with contrastive art which seems simple but deep in heart; full of contradictions but supplement each other. The novel shows many opposite sides with respect to its title,narration and characters,for this reason,it transcends time,race and region,leaving lingering taste for the readers,and the writer himself is reputed as "Master of form".
