摘要
离心高梯度磁选是基于一种新型复合力场——离心高梯度磁场的分选方法,具有捕获力强和分选精度高的优点.本文应用一种实验型CenMag100周期式离心高梯度磁选机,进行分选云南大理低品位钛铁矿(TiO_2品位7.12%,可选TiO_2品位4.48%)的试验研究,分析主要操作因素对分选指标的影响.试验结果表明,离心高梯度磁选可以高效分选该种钛铁矿;当操作条件最佳时,即磨矿细度-0.074 mm占83%,离心加速度11 m/s^2,磁介质丝径2 mm时,经过离心高梯度磁选一次粗选,即可得到TiO_2品位和回收率分别为36.67%和49.70%(可选TiO_2理论回收率为63%)的高品位钛粗精矿.因此,可以得出结论,离心高梯度磁选新方法分选精度高,可以有效分选钛铁矿,将为我国细粒弱磁性矿的有效开发利用提供了一种新技术途径.
Centrifugal high gradient magnetic separation(CHGMS) presents a new separation technology method based on centrifugal high gradient magnetic field,and it is characteristic of strong capture force and high separation selectivity.In this investigation,a cyclic pilot-scale Cen Mag100 CHGMS separator is used to concentrate an ilmenite ore assaying 7.12% TiO2(with recoverable TiO2 grade of 4.48%) from Dali area of Yunnan Province,and the effects of its major operating variables on the CHGMS performance are investigated.The results of the investigation indicate that through a single CHGMS processing to the ore,an high-grade ilmenite concentrate assaying 36.67% TiO2 with 49.70% recovery(the theoretical separable TiO2 recovery is 63%) is produced,under the optimized operating conditions,i.e.,at a grinding fineness of 83% below 0.074 mm,a centrifugal acceleration of 11 m/s^2 and a 2.0 mm diameter rod matrix.It is therefore concluded that this innovative CHGMS method achieves high separation selectivity and effective separation to the ilmenite ore,and it would provide a new technological alternative for the effective utilization of fine weakly magnetic ores.
