Skills on the Move: Action strategies of International Community——A Review of International Conference on Technical and Vocational Education and Training

当前,经济社会全球化不断加深,面对科技革命、产业升级、信息技术变革,职业教育需要承担更多使命,而通过职业教育提升人的技能以应对瞬息万变的外部环境是各国重要的战略选择。国际职业教育大会围绕"不断变化的技能:全球趋势与本土实践"的主题,就技能与可持续发展、技能与青年就业创业、技能与社会公平以及性别平等、技能流动与职业资质框架、全球趋势与中国职业教育等话题进行了深入探讨。与会代表达成广泛共识,认为围绕"预测和评估技能需求;发展惠及全民的技能;提升技能和资格认证的透明度和认可度;推动不同职业更好地利用技能、支持创业"是世界各国和国际社会谋划战略合作、开展行动的战略方向。

At present, economic and social globalization continues to deepen, in the face of technological revolution, industrial upgrading and change of information technology, the occupation education needs to take more mission, and improving people＇s skills through the occupation education to cope with the ever-changing external environment is an important strategic choice of countries. The International Conference on Technical and Vocational Education and Training, centered on the theme of ＂Skills on the Move： Global Trends, Local Resonances＂, made a deep discussion on skills and sustainable development, skills as well as youth employment and entrepreneurship, skills and social equity, skills and gender equality, skills mobility and professional competency framework, global trends and China＇s vocational education. Delegates reached broad consensus that forecasting and evaluating skill needs, developing skills to benefit the whole population, enhancing the transparency and accreditation of skills and qualifications, promoting different careers to use skills better and to support entrepreneurship are the strategic direction of strategic cooperation and action carried out by all countries and the international community.
