摘要
本文简述了李四光的地震地质与地震预报思想,即认为地震是地应力活动与组成地壳岩石抵抗力之间矛盾激化的结果,是现今地壳运动的一种表现,它的分布与现今的活动的构造体系,或某种构造的活动构造带有密切关系,应圈定地震危险区设站观测地应力的变化过程,探索地震预报途径。
This paper introduces Li Siguang's thought of seismic geology and earthquake prediction. China is a country with many earthquakes. Earthquake is a kind of geologic events and can be predited. Professor Li pointed out the direction of earthquake prediction. He thought earthquake is the result of the antagonistic controdiction between the activity of ground-stress and crustal rock resistence, or a form of present movements of earth crust. Its contribution is closely connected with the active structural systems or some active structural zones of tectonic systems. He thought we should difine the seismicly dangerious areas and observe changing process of crustal stress through establishing field stations, and explore the way of earthquake forecasting.
