The Acceptance and Development of Soviet Literature by “Lu Xun Institute of Arts”

"鲁艺"与苏联文学有着紧密的联系,建院宗旨和战时语境使它在诞生之初就带有鲜明的意识形态色彩,诉诸于日常教学、文艺创作活动,就是配合党的工作需要,接受和发展苏联的功利主义文学理论。相似的战时语境与思想立场,建设无产阶级革命统一战线的整体考量,以及左翼文学浪潮的推动,加速了苏联文学对"鲁艺"的平行影响。"鲁艺"顺应时代要求,以崭新的艺术形态和话语体系孕育了党性文学的雏形,为新中国文学进行提前预演,它的发生发展、功过得失也镌刻着苏联文学的深刻印痕。

Abstract： ＂Lu Xun Institute of Arts＂ was closely linked with the Soviet literature, for the purpose of its foun- ding and the then wartime context endowed it at the start of its birth with a distinct ideological color, which, as manifest in its daily teaching and literary and artistic creation, was to accept and develop the Soviet Union＇ s literar- y theory of utilitarianism in line with the need of the Party＇ s work. The similar wartime environment and the ideo- logical stand, the overall considerations on the establishment of the proletarian revolutionary united front, and the impetus of the left-wing literature tide accelerated the parallel influence of the Soviet literature on ＂Lu Xun Institute of Arts＂. In conformity with the demand of the era, ＂Lu Xun Institute of Arts＂ gave birth to the prototype of the Party literature in a new art form and discourse system, thus previewing the new Chinese literature in advance. And moreover, its occurrence and development, merits and demerits are engraved with a distinctive imprint of the Soviet literature.
