摘要
如何提高高校学生的英语阅读理解能力,长期以来一直是广大外语教师和教学法理论研究者们十分关心的问题。应用语言学家揭示,阅读是一个复杂的认知过程;单一的授课模式无法有效地提高学生的英语阅读理解能力。因此,通过讨论教师的阅读教学模式来提高学生的阅读理解能力具有重要意义。
Many English teachers and teaching methodology researchers are quite concerned with how to improve the reading comprehension of college students.Applied linguists revealed that reading is a cognitive process so that a single teaching mode can not effectively help college students improve their reading comprehension.Therefore,it's very meaningful to discuss how teachers can do to change the teaching mode and improve students' reading comprehension.
