Along with the implement of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration strategy, its respective function and position is very clear. However, how to play well Beijing＇s unique role is a problem that is worth to study in the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei. The article takes the historical method as the application, makes thought and analysis on the role of Beijing under the background of the integration of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from the system of social governance of the capital suburbs in Qing dynasty.
