摘要
不列颠哥伦比亚大学是加拿大一所著名的公立研究型大学,无论在高等教育的教学领域,还是科研领域,始终处于全球领先的地位。为了给学生提供高质量的教学服务与多样化的学习体验,不列颠哥伦比亚大学经过多年的探索与实践,建立了一整套科学规范的教学助理制度,其主要特征体现在明确的目标指向、多元的管理机制、规范的聘用体系,以及完备的培训体系。不列颠哥伦比亚大学的教学助理制度具有重要学习和借鉴价值,我国高校应正确认识教学助理的角色和职责,有效推进教学助理的管理,不断完善教学助理的聘用机制,以及持续强化教学助理的培训与评价。
University of British Columbia (UBC) is a famous public research universi- ty in Canada, which arrived at the forefront of the development of higher education in the whole world, both in teaching and researching. After years of exploration and practice, a set 'of scientific system of teaching assistants with main characteristics as clear targets, a versa- tile management system, a normative employment system and a complete training system has been established in UBC, so that a high quality of service and a variety of learning expe- riences can be provided to the students there. The teaching assistant system in UBC is of great value, which can give us some enlightenment and make us have a correct understand- ing of roles and responsibilities about teaching assistants, manage them effectively, improve the teaching assistant recruitment system constantly, and strengthen training and evaluation of teaching assistants continually.
