梁祝故事起源于民间传说,经过长期发展具有多种表现形式,其中尤以戏曲最受欢迎。广泛流传于南北方各地的梁祝戏曲既有相似也有相异之处。在语言风格上,受当地方言的影响,南方地区的梁祝戏偏柔婉清丽,北方地区的梁祝戏则更为豪放直接。在故事情节方面,南北方地区的梁祝戏大多以越剧剧本为参考,有些甚至全盘移植,但还有一些梁祝戏则在流传过程中融入了地域特色,将一些情节进行改编,迎合了当地人民的喜爱。"化蝶"结尾作为梁祝传说的点睛之笔,在梁祝戏曲的改编过程中也不容忽视,各地梁祝戏在"化蝶"细节方面略有不同,但都体现了浪漫主义精神。

The Story of Liang Shanbo Zhu Yingtai originated in folklore. It has a variety of forms through long-term development, notably the form of opera. There are similarities and differences of the story in the northern and the southern part of China. In term of language style, the influence of the local dialect, the southern region of the story showed more simple and beautiful, while in the northern region,it showed more bold and unconstrained. In term of the plot, the story in both northern and southern part of China took Yue opera for reference, some even fully transplanted. However, some local characteristics were adopted, catering to the local people＇s interest. The end of this story was the highlight which could not be ignored in the process of adaptation. The story played around with slightly different details, but both embodied romanticism.
