The Advance of Blastocystis Isolated from Swine

芽囊原虫是寄生于多种动物肠道的呈世界性分布的人兽共患寄生性原虫,被认为是腹泻、痢疾等肠道疾病的病原体之一。多种家畜,如猪、牛是芽囊原虫的贮存宿主。我国对猪源芽囊原虫的研究较少,文章对猪源芽囊原虫的病原学、流行病学、诊断及防治方面进行综述,为我国猪源芽囊原虫的相关研究提供参考依据。

Blastocystis is zoonotic enteric protozoan which has a widespread distribution in a variety of animals. This organism has been recognizedas a causative agent of intestinal diseases such as diarrhea and dysentery. Many kinds of livestock,such as swine and cattle,are reservoirs of blastocysts. The study of Blastocystis isolated from swine is still lack in China. The pathogen,epidemiology,diagnosis and prevention of Blastocystis were reviewed in this paper,with the hope to provide a reference basis to the research of Blastocystis isolated from swine.
